Company sold and Succession organized

In September 2007 we have finalized the shareholder change that had been planned for a long time allowing a solid succession plan for the company. The founder and former Managing Director Siegfried Trautmann sold his company after 30 years of successful leadership to two new shareholders. As one of the shareholders , located in Kiel, will not be involved into the operational management of the business, Dipl.-Ing Stephan Krebs will lead the business as Managing Director and new Shareholder.

Siegfried Trautmann will stay in a managing Director position until 2010 to ensure a smooth transition of all tasks to Stephan Krebs. For the transition period Krebs will be in charge for Sales, Marketing and other commercial areas of the company. Siegfried Trautmann will focus on all technical aspects and the production until these areas are transferred to Krebs.

Stephan Krebs (45) studied at RWTH Aachen and majored in Manufacturing Engineering. During the last 19 Years he worked for the US-based Company Parker Hannifin. During the last years at Parker, Krebs was in charge of the Fluid Connectors Group with more than 20 manufacturing locations and sales offices in all major countries of Europe.

Siegfried Trautmann (63) had been searching for an appropriate succession for his company for many years. It was very important for him to find a solution that would secure the current company and allow a further extension of the activities. This was the reason why he was not interested in offers for the company from foreign investors and from competitors. These solutions bared the risk that the location Brake could be questioned by the new owners of the company.

The now found solution will ensure that all business areas and production lines are secured and that the dynamic growth of the last years will be continued. With his long international experience Krebs can give key impulses for growth in the coming years, paralleled with the extension of production capacities in Europe and Asia.
